RURAL TRAINING COUNCIL OF
AUSTRALIA
Following the establishment of the
Agri-food Industry Skills Council (AFISC) in 2004, all of the Rural
Training Council of Australia’s (RTCA’s) previous functions and
responsibilities in respect of Training Packages, related education and
training matters and national industry training advisory arrangements were
assumed by this new organisation.
Members of the RTCA now constitute
part of the Rural and Related Standing Committee of AFISC and furnish
rural and related industry advice through established AFISC processes with
secretariat support by AFISC.
Persons seeking information or
rural and related Training Packages or industry advice through these
revised national industry training advisory arrangements should contact
AFISC on 02 - 6163 7200 or visit
www.agrifoodskills.net.au.
Other matters related to Corporate
Governance and day to day oversight of the surviving RTCA entity are
handled by Rural Skills Australia.
