New Traineeship Wage Rates (effective 1 October 2007)

 

Following a decision by Commissioner Tolley of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, wage rates payable under the National Training Wage Award [Transitional], have been increased with effect from the first pay period commencing on or after 1 October 2007. The new NTW Wage Level C rates now almost align to the wage rates determined for trainees under the July decision of the Australian Fair Pay Commission covering corporations, the Territories and Victorian employers that also took effect from 1 October 2007.

Please note: hourly amounts payable are calculated by dividing specified weekly rates by 30.4 hours.  Note: NTW weekly rates are rounded to the nearest dollar.
