Bob graduated with a double major in microbiology and botany from the University of Queensland and holds a Diploma of Further Education from the University of South Australia. He has had extensive experience in trainer training, training program management, training contracts management and industry advisory management and has been the Education and Training Adviser for Rural Skills Australia (Qld) since 2004.

Bob currently is involved in conversation with industry engagement bodies, partnership brokers, employer associations, Registered Training Organisations, recruitment agencies with respect to engagement with the national training system.
