Learning resources

Rural Skills Australia provides a range of resources designed to assist training providers. The resources have been developed in consultation with our partner organisations, including the National Farmers' Federation and its associated bodies.

Online Training

Rural Skills Australia has developed a web-based, learning management and delivery learning management system, ‘online training’ (see navigation on the left).

The website is active and access is made available on request to rural industry training providers. Log-on details and general information are available (in the first instance)  from our Victorian-based Education and Training Adviser, Gordon Griffin.

The ‘Online training’ web platform has two distinct websites: ‘Training Tracker' and 'Learning Management System’. The two sites are designed to interface to provide a complete training management and delivery package that supports teaching and student assessment.

Learning Guides

Learning Guides are available for a comprehensive range of rural accreditations, and these can be viewed through the Learning Guide web page. Selected Learning Guides can be ordered through Rural Skills Australia (see navigation on the left).

Please note:   Most hard copy versions of learning support materials available from Rural Skills Australia were produced to satisfy the requirements of earlier Training Packages (as indicated by the Learning Guide coding and title) which have been superseded. In many instances they do not align to new and varied requirements specified in units of competency in later Training Package versions. Registered Training Organisations are advised to assess their value and relevance beyond their use as general reference material.

SkillsOnline

SkillsOnline is a storehouse of cost-effective training, learning and assessment materials that support the delivery of a wide range of nationally recognised qualifications and competency standards. SkillsOnline is an initiative of Skilling NSW, within the NSW Department of Education and Training.
