Employers wanted for agricultural graduates

Employers are sought for well-trained, job ready agricultural and horticultural graduates with nationally recognised post diploma qualifications, Australian work experience, certifications, permits and licenses.

The graduates are committed to working for employers across wide ranging industry sectors in regional and remote Australia.
Prospective employers have an opportunity of trying out the graduates before entering into long-term employment contracts with them.

The trial period will generally involve a period of 3--6 months period for which the payment of wages will apply at the industry award rates.

The Australian College of Agriculture and Horticulture (ACAH) is a private specialist training provider delivering high quality education and training to industry sectors in tropical, sub-tropical and temperate agriculture from its three campuses in Queensland and Victoria.

ACAH graduates are sought after by employers as they operate successfully in all key industry sectors throughout Australia. These sectors include cropping, sugarcane, cotton, grains, cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits, production nurseries, viticulture and livestock production enterprises.

Prior to the referrals, ACAH will match graduates to the specific requirements of employers, ensuring that the graduates selected fit the job requirements.

The resumes will then be sent to the employers for consideration.

The graduate placement under this scheme is available at no costs to employers. This scheme is designed to provide solution to employers facing employee attraction and retention problems in their farming enterprises.

Interested employers are invited to email expressions of interest stating their specific essential job requirements or position descriptions of the roles to be filled to ram@hortskills.com.au
