How does getting qualified work?
You can now get a qualification, or part qualification, based on your practical knowledge and experience. You dont have to necessarily spend the next three years in a class room. For a fee you can have your skills and knowledge recognized through a process called Recognition of Prior Learning, or Recognition of Current Competency. This means that your practical skills and experience can be assessed by a recognised assessor.
